The Daisy line was introduced in 1910. This line is sometimes called the Arch Foot line by collectors since some items have arch shaped feet. Reuben Haley of Beaver County, PA was issued design patent 40,591 on March 29, 1910. This patent covered the Arch Foot shape, but not the applied Daisy design.
The Dorothy line first appeared in a January 1907 trade advertisement. The Lotus Design was introduced in 1905 but the molds for the Lotus Design were reworked to create the Dorothy line by placing a cross-hatch design over a smooth bubble of the Lotus Design.
This line was introduced for sale to the bar and restaurant trade beginning in 1916. A. J. Bennett was issued design patent D52,554 on October 15, 1918 for this line. The patent application was filed December 11, 1915.
