Plate Etching "Wedgewood" first appeared in an early 1920s Cambridge catalog. In this catalog, items were assigned a unique item number. They are listed in this album under the then current blank item number. The Wedgewood listing number is also given in the description. Wedgewood was a combination of plate etching 408 and border etching 625.
Few needle etchings were featured in the early 1920s. This is probably indicative of the declining popularity of needle etchings as plate etchings increased in popularity.
