Plate etching 773 Wildflower was introduced in 1935. It was also available as D/1045 etched with gold edge and D/1047 gold encrusted. All of the items shown in this album were listed as available with the Wildflower etching even though many of the items don't show the actual etching. Decorate 450 is an old decorate introduced in the 1920s. It is a simple gold band edge, sometimes with additional gold highlights. The name "Astoria" appeared in the late 1930s.
